Greenpeace : Slaughter In Paradise

Indonesia is the largest breeding ground for the Hawkesbill and Green Sea Turtles. Unfortunately, these two species are becoming extinct. It is estimated that 21,000 Green Sea turtles have been slaughtered, and this figure is increasing. This video shows how turtles continue to be slaughtered within the Asian region particularly in Indonesia despite joining CITES in 1979.
