National forest policy of Vanuatu

"This policy was prepared as a result of consultative workshops in 1996 and 1997. Between then and printing in June 1999, many of the recommendations contained in this policy have been implemented. The policy is regularly used to guide the work of the Department of Forests and inform others of the objectives, policies and strategies for action in forestry in Vanuatu".
