Cir#26/10: Call for nominations for the Ramsar Regional Initiative Oceania Subgroup.

Following the discussions at the Oceania Regional Coordination Meeting on 10 December 2025, a dedicated Oceania Ramsar Regional Initiative (RRI) Sub-group will be established.

The primary objectives of the RRI sub-group are to identify, prepare, and manage the submission of a proposal for a RRI in the region. As the deadline for the proposal’s submission is 4 August 2026, we are inviting Oceania Contracting Parties to nominate a representative to join this sub-group. Ideally, this representative should have the capacity to review documents and attend online meetings over the coming months leading up to the submission deadline.
